Celebrate the Yuba City Nagar Kirtan with Sikh Cycling Club!
The Yuba City Nagar Kirtan is known as the largest Sikh festival in the United States. The festival happens on the first weekend of November celebrating the installation of the Guru Granth Sahib as the 11th Guru of the Sikhs. The Nagar Kirtan festival culminates on Sunday with a large procession through Yuba City, CA led by the Guru Granth Sahib. This year, it is slated on the November 5-6, 2022 weekend.
Join us next Saturday as we ride to the Yuba City Nagar Kirtan! This is a 100-mile round trip route from Gurdwara Sahib Sacramento in West Sacramento, CA. We’ll have at least 2 rest stops on the route each way before we reach the festivities at Gurdwara Sahib Yuba City. If you’re not up for the full 100, join us for the first half and finish in Yuba City (you can arrange your own transportation from there).
