Get ready for the 4th ever Sikh Century!

We’re bringing back the Sikh Century Ride!

The Yuba City Nagar Kirtan is known as the largest Sikh festival in the United States. The festival happens on the first weekend of November celebrating the installation of the Guru Granth Sahib as the 11th Guru of the Sikhs. The Nagar Kirtan festival culminates on Sunday with a large procession through Yuba City, CA led by the Guru Granth Sahib. This year, it is slated on the November 6-7, 2021 weekend.

In recent years, Sikh cyclists have done a 100-mile ride from Stockton, CA to Yuba City on the Saturday of the Nagar Kirtan weekend.

The Nagar Kirtan was canceled in 2020 and so was the ride but the Nagar Kirtan is back this year, so we’re bringing back the Sikh Century with a new route!

On Saturday, November 6, we’re planning a century ride from Gurdwara Sahib Sikh Temple West Sacramento to Gurdwara Sahib Yuba City and back, covering a distance of over 100 miles. In past years, this was a one-way ride from Stockton, CA to Yuba City, however to make logistics easier, this year we are starting and finishing at the West Sacramento Gurdwara.

This new route also allows for a half century (one way) distance for those that prefer a shorter distance.
