Join our Vaisakhi Ride in Sacramento on April 24th!

The largest celebration on the Sikh calendar, Vaisakhi commemorates the day in 1699 when Guru Gobind Singh, tenth Guru of the Sikhs, created the Khalsa order.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa
Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

Following the successful launch of our club for Hola Mohalla, we’re excited to announce our next event!

On April 24, join us for a 54-mile ride to the foothills east of Sacramento to commemorate Vaisakhi.

Vaisakhi is the largest celebration on the Sikh calendar. In mid-April in 1699, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh, transformed the Sikh community by creating the Khalsa order, infusing in his followers the saint-soldier identity committed to the Divine and to standing up for social justice and against oppression. It was a transformation that has shaped and inspired the Sikh community to this day.

We’ll start at the Guru Maneyo Granth Gurdwara Sahib in Orangevale, CA (6021 Walnut Ave, Orangevale, CA 95662), ride out to the hills near Auburn and return. Gather and Ardas at 8:00 AM, ride by 8:30 AM. Ride support and langar is being planned.
