June holds special significance for Sikhs, as we commemorate the anniversaries of supreme sacrifice: of Guru Arjun in 1606, and of thousands of Sikhs in 1984. On Saturday, June 11, join us as we ride 50 miles between Gurdwara Sahib Fremont and the Tri Valley Sikh Center in Livermore, California to honor this history.
We had a great day on Sunday celebrating Vaisakhi — the largest celebration on the Sikh calendar — by riding to Stockton Gurdwara’s Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan from the Gur Nanak Prakash Gurdwara in Tracy, covering about 50 miles roundtrip through California Central Valley farmland.
Get ready for the our 2nd annual Sikh Cycling Club Vaisakhi Ride this Sunday, April 17, as we ride from Tracy to Stockton and back to celebrate at the Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan at America’s oldest Gurdwara!
