Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!
We had a great day on Sunday celebrating Vaisakhi — the largest celebration on the Sikh calendar — by riding to Stockton Gurdwara’s Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan from the Gur Nanak Prakash Gurdwara in Tracy, covering about 50 miles roundtrip through California Central Valley farmland.
We enjoyed the festive atmosphere and positive energy at the Nagar Kirtan, and not even a few flat tires would deter us.
We were also happy to be joined by our friends at Akaal Cycling Club and look forward to riding together with them again soon!
Our next ride will be in honor of June 1984 and our community’s martyrs. Stay tuned!
