Join our Hola Mahalla Ride on March 22!

Hola Mahalla has arrived, and it’s time to ride! We are excited to open our season with our traditional Hola Mahalla Ride.

This year is especially meaningful for us. Our first ride as a club was our Hola Mahalla Ride in 2021 in Fremont, California. Five years later, we return once again to begin the season together, marking the completion of our first five years on the road as a community.

Hola Mahalla was established by Guru Gobind Singh as a gathering of the Khalsa for martial exercises and exhibitions of athletic skills, a time to demonstrate readiness, strength, discipline, and spirit through action. In that same spirit, this ride reflects the values that have shaped Sikh Cycling Club from the beginning: collective movement, resilience, and shared purpose.

This is a steady, social group ride from Gurdwara Sahib West Sacramento to the Sacramento Hola Mahalla Nagar Kirtan and back.

This is a group ride, not a race. Riders should be comfortable riding in a group and be self-sufficient.

We hope many of you will join us as we open our cycling season together and celebrate five years of Sikh Cycling Club.

Five years forged. The road continues.
