Rider Profiles: Meet Amritpal Singh

As Sikh Cycling Club enters its fifth year, we’re launching our Rider Profiles series to highlight the people who make up this community: where they ride from, how they got into cycling, and what keeps them connected to the club.

Meet Amritpal Singh from Fremont, California!

Amritpal first got into cycling in 2011 through Sikh colleagues who were participating in the Bike MS ride. What began as a fitness goal tied to a good cause quickly became something he was drawn to more deeply.

Today, cycling brings him positivity and focus, along with the physical benefits.

He was motivated to join Sikh Cycling Club by the alignment of cycling with Sikh events, strong organization, and the opportunity to connect with friends who share similar values and interests.

His favorite ride with the club so far has been the ride from the Stockton gurdwara to the Sacramento gurdwaras, where he met many new members.

Amritpal brings great energy and sense of Chardi Kala to the club. We’re honored to ride with him on our club rides.

From California to the world, we are forged by Sarbloh. This is Sikh Cycling Club. Ever-Rising. Ever-Riding.

Fateh!
