Fateh!
We’re looking forward to our Vaisakhi Ride on Saturday, April 24, starting and finishing at the Guru Maneyo Granth Gurdwara Sahib in Orangevale, CA (just east of Sacramento). We have a few updates to announce!
- New route option! In addition to the 54 mile/3,100 ft. elevation route, we are adding a shorter 40 mile/2,100 ft. elevation route which bypasses much of the climbing of the main route and rejoins at the second rest stop.
- Two rest stops!
- Mile 15.8: Blue Anchor Park, 690 Taylor Rd, Loomis, CA 95650. Snacks/water will be provided. Public rest rooms available.
- Mile 35/Mile 21 (short route): Denny’s Restaurant parking lot, 681 Newcastle Rd, Newcastle, CA 95658. Snacks/water will be provided. Rest rooms available at nearby gas station.
- Post-ride langar will graciously be provided by the Guru Maneyo Granth Gurdwara Sahib. On behalf of our club, please consider donating to this Gurdwara on ride day as a gesture of seva to them.
