Rider Profiles: It’s Gurveer Dhillon!

This series highlights the people who make up Sikh Cycling Club, near and far, and the different ways they ride, show up, and carry this community forward.

Meet Gurveer Dhillon, joining us from Fremont, California.

Gurveer first got into cycling through his dad, who introduced him to the bike at a young age. What started as time spent riding together has grown into a serious pursuit. Today, Gurveer competes in regional criteriums and road races, continuing to push himself to new levels.

Cycling brings life to his days. It gives him something to look forward to and drives him to accomplish something bigger each time he rides.

He found Sikh Cycling Club through his dad as well. With both his dad and uncle riding in the club, the sense of community felt natural from the beginning. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, which made him want to keep showing up and growing with the group.

His favorite memory so far is the Sikh Century to the Yuba City Nagar Kirtan. Completing that ride proved to him that he can accomplish more than he ever thought.

We’re proud to have Gurveer riding alongside this community. From riding as a kid to competing in races and taking on century miles with family, his journey reflects commitment, belief, and the power of riding together.
