This year marks the 40th anniversary of the 1984 Operation Bluestar massacre and the Sikh genocide later that year. Thousands of Sikhs were killed and religious spaces were defiled, pillaged and destroyed at the hand of the Indian government.
We will not forget.
This year, we are humbled to honor this anniversary in our own way. We’ve partnered with Jakroo USA to create a special cycling kit (cycling jersey, bib shorts and vest) that commemorates the tragic events of that year. Various design elements of this kit memorialize different aspects of that tragedy and celebrate the Sikh community’s resilience, four decades on.
We expect that this commemorative kit will be available for sale very soon. In the meantime, we’ll share details in the coming days and hope you will join us in commemorating this anniversary for the Sikh community.
