Last Saturday, we held our annual end-of-year luncheon at the Yellow Chilli Restaurant in Danville, CA. We had Sikh Cycling Club members join from across Northern California. Despite the weather, it was great to come together with friends new and old after a year of cycling events. We had an amazing turnout and a great time! Many thanks to all who came out.
The weather forecast tomorrow is calling for a strong chance of rain and for 10-20 mph southerly winds. As such, unfortunately we are canceling tomorrow’s Ride to the Yuba City Nagar Kirtan.
We need the rain so won’t complain! Please enjoy the Nagar Kirtan or your weekends otherwise.
Weather forecasts for this Saturday’s Ride to the Yuba City Nagar Kirtan are calling for showers during the day. We’ll make the call on Friday on whether to ride depending on the weather forecast. Stay tuned!
Join us next Sat.11/5 as we ride to the largest Sikh festival in the US: the Yuba City Nagar Kirtan! If you’re not up for the full 100, join us for the first half and finish in Yuba City. Click through for details!
On Saturday, October 22, we celebrated by riding up Mt. Diablo in Danville, CA, a leg-lighting 4,000 foot climb over 15 miles to the peak. We were joined by new members who set personal records for climbing. We were honored to witness their achievements!
